Another from drawing class, about 20"x30" with conte or charcoal, I forget which. Anyway, it had to be based on alcoholism. So, after a bit of thought, I decided to mock the Absolut Vodka ads. And, conveniently enough, I've got a friend, Linda who can jam herself inside of a 1/2 locker, which is proportionate to the bottle. Messed with the face a little; Linda's much better-looking in person. For a woman, anyway. Teacher really liked it, said that it was very pop-artsy, so that was the category that I ultimately plopped it into.

Edit June 16th: Damn. Guess I'll have to scan in a better copy...

Awesomeness in a can (plus 10). I like this a lot. It's very very well-done, looks awesome, makes a statement, and mocks something that involves that statment. Rock on.

awesome, i like the reflection of the bottle on the surface its on, you also got the textures brilliantly
if my teacher showed this to me shed be like LOOOOK CONTRAST!!!! the contrast just does it for this pic. :XD: shes a moron :D

whoa. i have to say but wonderful. i love your composition. conveys the message well. great eye for detail. wish i could do something like with charcoal.
